Blog Slacker!!!??!!!!

Okay so I know I have been a total blog slacker!!! I'm sorry! My sister informed me today that I better update my blog, so of course I'm doing exactly what she says! Life has been kinda crazy not that a lot has really been going on, but I just haven't got to blogging :) This is going to be a really random long post going over basically everything I have pictures of on my camera.

Yesterday was Kara's 27th birthday. We celebrated by going to Pizza Factory with a group of people mostly from our branch and then coming back to my house and watching figure skating.. ha ha. The real celebration will come this weekend when we go to Nascar! Right! Me going to Nascar! Kara is a huge fan and is sooo excited! We'll see in a few days how I feel about my first Nascar experience :) I'm sure we'll have fun no matter what, we always do!

Part of the reason I think I haven't gotten to my blog is because I am dead tired at night after getting up to walk at 5:30. I absolutely love it, and never thought I would. Becca and I are still walking at least 20 miles a week and most weeks more. I love our walks and actually find myself looking forward to getting up and going and have we ran out of things to talk about? Nope! I love this girl and am so thankful everyday that she's my best friend. Oh and btw 8 days until Spring Break and our cruise! I am so excited!

On February 20th Treyson turned 1. I can hardly believe that it's been a year since he was born. I love him and Payton so much and am so thankful that I get to be their aunt. My mom and I went up for the weekend for his birthday. It was great to be able to spend time with them.

About a month ago we had a bonfire out at Snow Canyon. We roasted Star burst, sounds weird I know but it was really good!

~Vegas Baby~

Kara, MaCail and I decided to make an unexpected trip to Vegas a couple of weeks ago. We went to the Rio Buffet and just hung out on the strip. We got home at 3 in the morning, and had church at 9, so the next morning was a little rough, but it was so worth it!

~New Year's Resolutions!~

So I'm a little late with this post, but better late than never right! I have never been good at keeping New Year's Resolutions. I think last year was the 1st year I ever actually met my goal. My one and only New Year's Resolution last year was to go through the temple before the year was over, and I did it YAH! This year I decided to make two, and see if I can keep both.

1. Walk 20 miles a week. Lets be honest here I haven't kept any sort of exercise goal in like 10 years! Becca and I are doing this together, 5 miles a day. Some weeks we are doing 25 but decided to keep our goal at 20. I'm positive that she is the only person in the world I would be able to keep this one with. We are able to keep each other going :) Being able to spend that hour a day in our "therapy session" and exercising at the same time is just an added plus. We've been doing it for about 3 weeks now, and as you can see from our picture come rain or shine we are meeting our goal! Notice the frozen hair :) We are still trying to decide how we are going to keep our goal on our 7 day Mexican Rivera Cruise we are going on in March!!!!! So excited!!!! 51 days!

2. Attend the temple at least once a month. I was thinking I should do more, but I want to be able to reach my goal and if I'm able to go more than once a month that will just be a plus.

~Christmas 2009~

Christmas with the Sullivan's was just like every other year, Eventful! Kacie, Micah, Payton and Treyson got to come down and spend it with us. :)) Christmas day I guess Randy got a little bored and him and Tori decided they were going to tape my arms and legs together with packing tape. Luckily, my Aunt Kristine caught them before they got too far! Randy always seems to find some random thing to do to me. I'm pretty tough, but him being gone for 6 months and all that Army training has not been kind to me! Christmas Eve my Uncle Scott and Aunt Kristine invited the missionaries over for dinner. It was really great to have them there with us. They shared a spiritual thought and it was a really good way to end the night. Here are some pictures for our Christmas.

2 Years

It has been two years today since my Grandpa Dee passed away. I can't believe that it's been that long. I am so grateful to him and all of the many things he taught me. I'm so thankful that it was so important to him that we kept a close family.

I know that he is in a better place now, but I still miss him everyday. I'm grateful to live close to where he is buried and to be able to go there and visit whenever and on days like this. I was able to go out today and visit his grave and put flowers on it. (Thanks Bec for going with me:)) Love you lots Grandpa! Thank you for teaching me the importance of telling people you love them and telling them often.

Catching Up!!!!

I have decided to give up doing an individual post for my groups of pictures. That's what I've wanted to do, but it just isn't working out right now. Since being released from the Relief Society Presidency I got put in as Activities Chairperson, now in a family ward one might look at that calling as not so much. But...in a singles ward it means you're in charge of Family Home Evening every Monday! It didn't take long for me to get a new calling I got relased from the RS presidency one Sunday and got this calling the next. Well, as many of you know I'm not the most social person you'll ever meet. I tend to have my few close friends and I'm pretty happy just sticking by them. So, this calling is very much out of my element. However, I know that there is a specific reason I have been put here because I know the Lord never puts you anywhere you aren't suppose to be for some reason. Right now I am organizing a Sub for Santa project, and while it has been a lot of work, I am so glad that I'm having the opportunity to do it. It has really opened my eyes up to things I had no idea about, and even though some days I want to pull my hair out I am truly grateful for this callings and the blessings it has already brought into my life. Here are some random things that have been going on in my life

This last weekend I went down to Vegas with Kara, Ashlee, McCail and Lezley. Kara and I went down Friday night and stayed with a friend of hers, stayed up way too late, but still got up and went to the Temple in the morning. Neither one of us had been in any other Temple besides the St. George one, so it was really neat to have a new experience. I am such a planner, and this trip was really spontaneous and good for me. It was fun to hang out with everyone. This is all of us at a place on the strip called Town Center

The weekend before Kacie came down with the kids to do some Christmas shopping. I love this little diva so much. She is talking in sentences now and is seriously just the cutest thing in the only wide world!

Treyson is almost 10 months old now and is in to everything! He is such a cutie though. Here he is getting into my nail polish. This kid is a mover! Watch out when he starts walking!

We had a great Thanksgiving weekend! I didn't get to take many pictures, but the Payne family came down. Krystle had a soccer tournament in St. George and we had a lot of fun watching her. Her team only won one game and scored a total of 4 goals, Krystle scored all 4 goals! She is so awesome!

Me, Jess, Tori, my mom, and my aunt Kristine got up at 3:30 in the morning and went Black Friday shopping! Wow was that an experience. I've never done it before and I don't think that I'll be doing again. We were home by 8 and ready for a nap! Jess and Tori came and stayed in St. George with me for the weekend. It was so good to have them here with me they are so busy right now that it's rare that they ever have two days they can actually come stay here. The house was way too quiet when they left. We kept busy hanging out with the Paynes and later going to the movie and playing games with the Chadburns.

This was the killer. I should learn not to sit on the floor because before I know it I have the entire family of top of me! This one was probably the worst ever I thought I was going to throw up. I had everyone on top of me plus all of their Thanksgiving dinner weight! I just love my family so much :)

Football Saturdays!!

My adopted nephews Cooper and Caleb just got doing playing football for the year. Their games were on Saturdays so I got to watch most of them. Cooper's team won all but like 3 games I think and Caleb's team only lost one game all year and ended up winning the 4th grade championship! I had fun playing with Jayden and Cooper too while Caleb was on the field.

Cooper had a game in Mesquite so I went down with Bec and Jayden. Jessica and Austin met us there and Jayden was more than happy to tease Jessica. Those are her truck keys. Jayden has a little crush on Jessica and how could she resist that face :)

~Talent Show??~

Our branch had a regional talent show a couple weeks ago (once again I'm behind!) Sooo Vanessa, Amanda, Kara, Amber,McCail and I decided we would sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" with voice changers. I'm not sure it was really what you would call a "talent" but hey we showed up right!
