Spring Break 2012, Washington D.C. and New York!

I'm so far behind in this blog that I've wondered if it's even worth getting caught up with everything that has gone on in the past well more than six months! I am loving my summer off and not having to live by any kind of schedule, on the other hand I am in a way ready for school to start. I'm ready for a fresh start with not so much on my plate. I have just finished my last paper for my Master's degree and as long as I get a B on it I it I will be completely done! I'm excited to have more time to focus on my class and to be able to put in the time I feel like I need to to be a good teacher. Last year was by far my hardest year yet and I'm not looking for a repeat. I had a lot of cute kids that I adored, but it was very challenging. I was able to teach my cute nephew, Cooper, and that was the best! I love the bond we were able to create and that I got to spend so much time with him. Jayden went to the school I teach at to and I loved seeing him and having him there every day too :)

This year has brought so many challenges and trials in my life. I'm so grateful for the gospel and knowing that even though things are hard and we have to have trials that it will all work out in the end. I know that I have been blessed in so many ways and that I just should be grateful for everything that I have. I've been blessed with a wonderful family and so many wonderful friends.

In March I went on a trip back East with Becca and the boys. We went to more states that week than I've been to in my entire life! We stayed in Virginia with her sister, went to New York, Delaware, New Jersey, Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia Beach and San Francisco! There may have been some other states we passed through, but I don't remember them right now. It was a great trip and I'm grateful for the opportunity that I got to go! I ♥ traveling with Becca and the boys we always have so much fun!

Erick and Jessica's Wedding October 29, 2011

So I know that I'm really far behind, but I'm going to attempt to get caught up starting with Jessica and Erick's wedding back in October 29th. They got married in the St. George Temple. I was so happy to be able to be there and watch her get sealed for time and all eternity to someone as great as Erick. I'm so proud of Jess for being worthy to get married in the Temple and for the amazing woman she has turned out to be. It's still a little weird for me to think of her as being married because in my mind she's still a little girl :)

Coming out of the Temple
They're married!

Where to Start!!!!!

Soooo I am still alive! I can't believe it's been over 3 months since I updated my blog! I honestly don't know where the summer went and how school has already been going for two months. This post is going to be a long one since I'll try to go back and re-cap my summer and what has been happening up until now. These last couple of months have been some of the hardest ones I've had in awhile. I've had things and relationships with people I never thought would be tested be just that. It's been hard for me to continue through and have faith that if I hold true to the things I know I'm supposed to be doing that things will work out. I know that the Lord loves me and that he sends people to me everyday that show me just that. It never ceases to amaze me just how well He does know me and exactly what I need to be able to learn from my trials. I have also come to realize how well Satan also knows me and is able to hit me right when he knows I'm weak. I also know that what I am going through is so small compared to what so many other people are going through. I have wonderful family and friends and I have a job that I absolutely love, two things that a lot of people don't have. I am so thankful for so many things but first and foremost for those two things :) I know that if I'm strong enough to be faithful through my trials that the Lord will bless me and has a plan for me. I'm so grateful for the Gospel and for the hope it brings to my life.

I got the new iphone and I am a little addicted to my photo editing program! Chase came home from his mission and this was at his homecoming. He gave one of the best talks I've ever heard. He has such a strong testimony and I'm so proud of him!
Another photo editing job
Almost all the cousins! Missing Kacies, Seth, Christan and Randy
Jen is having a baby! YEAH! I'm so happy for her and Jimmy! I hauled her around shopping with me all day. She was such a trooper being pregnant and all. I love Jen so much and am so thankful for her in my life. She is always there to give me advice about anything I ask. One of my favoritne things about Jen is she is always honest! No matter what! She doesn't do the little white lie thing to save feelings. She always tells the truth no matter what.
I love this pictures! Notice Payton in the backseat.

I just like this picture :)

I can hardly believe Jessica is getting married! Seriously! Erick is the perfect fit for her and for our family. The guy is great! I'm so happy for her. She's getting married October 29th in the St. George Temple. I am so excited to be able to be there! This is her bridal shower. My mom, Becca and I got her that little number!
