Day 3 A Picture of You and Your Friends

I have been blessed with so many wonderful friends that it was hard to just choose one picture, but this is one of my favorite pictures. This was at the luncheon after I went through the Temple. I love all three of these girls so much and am so thankful to have them in my life. I figured I would save the individual pictures for the other day that asks for friend pictures. (assuming I get there since it has taken me over a week to get to day 3!)

Melissa, Me, Becca, and Jen

I had to post this one too just to show again why I ♥ them so much!

Day 2-The meaning behind my blog name..

Well...I think I just named it "Tara." so that's pretty easy to figure out. My blog address though however is unique. www.tara-tizzle.blogspot.com. I didn't want to use just my name, and I was sure that address would be available! Tizzle is one of the many nicknames my cousins have come up with for me :) I think my next license plate is going to say just that!

A Recent Picture and 15 Interesting (more like random!) Facts

This is the most recent picture of I have of myself and I figure it pretty much sums most of the pictures I take :)
1. I drove a snowmobile through a fence, across a major highway, and down into a ditch and escaped without even a mark.
2.I can't pluck my own eyebrows, and I have the worse eyebrows in the world! It gives me the webee geebees! I have to have them waxed but can't do that myself either. Kristine, Jess and Bec have always had to do it for me.
3. I love young kids. The innocence that they have and the funny things they say. The way they are untainted from the world. They just have a purity about them. Which is why I love my job so much.
4.At times, I have a hard time expressing myself, and usually when it's most important.
5-I worry about everything! This is something I really wish I could change about myself. I can drive myself crazy worrying about things I have no control over.
6-I don't believe that blood is what makes you family. A teacher at my school said this to me today and I love it! "Blood is not thicker than water, Love is thicker than water."
7-I love watching sports! I remember from the time I was little watching sports on TV day and night. I remember my dad walking in one day shaking his head and saying "You should have been a boy!"
8-I have so many nicknames it's hard to keep up. No one but my parents and people I have no connection with call me Tara. It's almost weird to hear myself called Tara and especially by someone I'm close to.
9-I love John Stockton and The Jazz!
10-I love to laugh! I will laugh about anything and everything :)
11-Very few people REALLY know me. I put up a good front, but there a very few people that I will really open up to and that I fully trust.
12-It suprises most people to know that I'm a cryer... It takes nothing to make me cry.
13-I love to take pictures, and can drive people crazy with my camera.
14-I love Purple!
15-"Through humor, you can soften some of the worst blows that life delivers. And once you find laughter, no matter how painful your situation might be, you can survive it." This is one of my favorite quotes :)

What else has been going on?

Well lets start with my fight with Jen's potato peeler. I went over to hang out with Jen and was helping her can pears. Well...I was peeling the pears and somehow the peeler slipped and my finger was bleeding like crazy. Anyone who knows me knows that I can't stand the sight of blood. I immediately got light headed and felt like I was going to faint. Jimmy had to come in and take care of my cut until I could pull myself together. I know! what a whimp! What can I say though I hate the sight of blood and it makes me feel like I'm going to pass out. The picture doesn't do the cut justice. I had tons of fun with Jen though :)

For Halloween, yes, I was a nurse again. It's just so easy and I don't have to think about it. It's also a costume that doesn't make my kids at school go crazier than they already are that day, but I wore it to a Halloween party I went to too. This is a combination of mine and Amber's costume. I love the glasses!

Amber, Colleen and Julie had a Halloween party at their house that was lots of fun! Everyone else has a creative costume..I know!

Last Weekend Kara. MaCail and I went to Vegas for the night since MaCail is getting married on the 20th of this month. This is at The Belagio. I love walking around their gardens.

MaCail and I on the strip waiting to eat. I am so happy for MaCail that she's getting married, but I am going to miss seeing her all the time too. She is such a good friend to me. I've got to help her with a few of her wedding things, mostly helping her with her dress. Everyone knows I am not a girly girl and don't usually get into stuff like that, but I have really enjoyed helping her and am so glad that she has asked me to do it.

It seemed like the boys have been so busy lately with football and everything that a couple of weeks ago I made them come stay with me for the night! I love these boys and each of their unique personalities :)

Jayden lost his two front teeth, and since this picture has lost three teeth in the front. Seriously.. how could you not love this face?

I think I am finally caught up with blogging! I feel much better :)

Oregon!

I can't believe what a slacker I have been about keeping up my blog! Life happens though I guess :) I'm still trying to work and go to class at night, which has not been very fun. The good news is that I'm done with my ESL class and got an "A!" Yeah! The bad news being I still have my Masters' class and have a 10 page due here soon that I haven't started :)

Over the fall break I was able to fly to Portland, Oregon to see my sister and her family. It was such a fun trip and I loved every minute of it. I have missed all of them so much, and it was so good to see them. The time went by so quickly. I spent four days there, but it didn't seem like it at all. Here are a few pictures of some of the fun things we did.
Can I tell you how much I have missed these faces! Treyson talks pretty good now and says "Aunt T" It's funny because Payton has always called me "Nant Ne" even though she can say Aunt T, but now that Treyson says is right she now callls me "Aunt T" too. I kind of miss being called "Nant Ne" :( Probably just because it means she's growing up.

The first day we went to the Tillamook Cheese Factory. It was really interesting to see the factory and all that cheese! We had some of the best ice cream ever there!

Even though it was way too cold to get in the water I still had to go to the ocean. It is defintely one of my favorite places to be.

We also went to the zoo and had lots of fun there. Treyson loves the bears!

Kacie took Payton to the bathroom,so I decided Treyson and I would have a little photo shoot. He thought it was sooo funny and kept yelling "More!" So, I have about 5 pictures of us like this.

Me with the kids at the zoo.

It took forever to convince Payton to get her picture taken with this bear, she was scared of it!

Payton helping cook on Sunday.

Me and my favorite niece. Oh how I love this child :)
